Assessment and imaging
We check bone height and width with a digital X-ray, and confirm there is enough bone to hold an implant. If not, we will tell you before you commit.
Implant placement
Done under local anaesthetic, usually in 45 to 60 minutes for a single implant. Most patients are surprised how uneventful it is.
Healing and integration
The bone grows around the implant over three to six months. You will have a temporary tooth in the gap during this period if it is visible.
Abutment and crown
Once integrated, the abutment is fitted and an impression is sent to our lab. The final crown is made at Rapidontics Labs and fitted at your next visit.
