What should I put in the gap after an extraction?
It depends on the tooth. Back teeth carry chewing load and leaving the gap lets neighbouring teeth tilt, so an implant (₹40,000 plus crown) or a bridge is usually advised. Front teeth are replaced for appearance and speech as well. We will lay out the options with prices rather than pushing one.
How long does the socket take to heal?
The gum closes over in about a week to ten days, and the bone underneath fills in over two to three months. If you are planning an implant, that bone healing is why there is a waiting period before placement.
