My gums bleed when I brush — is that serious?
Bleeding gums are not normal and usually indicate gingivitis from plaque and calculus build-up. At this stage it is reversible with scaling at ₹2,000 and better cleaning technique. Left for years it progresses to periodontitis, which causes irreversible bone loss and loose teeth.
What is crown lengthening for?
When a tooth is broken or decayed right down to the gum line, there is not enough tooth left above the gum for a crown to grip. Crown lengthening at ₹3,600 exposes more of the tooth so it can be restored instead of extracted.
Is a frenectomy needed for my child?
Sometimes. A tight lip frenum can hold a gap open between the upper front teeth, and a tight tongue frenum can affect speech or feeding. Not every prominent frenum needs releasing though — we assess function, not just appearance, before recommending it.
